There IS a limit, there IS a line,
what I'm ASKING you though, what I'm asking is don't
give up on this man. That's my husband,
and when we get to that line, I'll tell you, believe me
and when we get to that line, I'll tell you, believe me
I will tell you. I don't want my husband
to suffer any more than you do, so I'll
be the first to tell you when we got to stop.
For now though -- please. Do your thing.
And when you do it -- please -- do it
with the same hope I have.
This evokes an emotional response from the reader. It brought me to tears. I could easily see myself making the same plea on behalf of my husband.
ReplyDeleteThe photo looks familiar... maybe that is the purpose. To give a sence of being close to home. Very much like the written piece.
